Universities and Slavery, Jesuit Leadership Seminar

  • Loyola University Chicago, IL (map)

WELCOME!

Dear Colleague,

Thank you for your interest in the 2019 Jesuit Leadership Seminar, the Seminar’s 16th year of forming Ignatian leaders who are "men and women for others" at their Jesuit colleges and universities.

This coming June, colleagues from across the network of 28 Jesuit colleges and universities in the United States will gather on the Water Tower Campus of Loyola University Chicago for four days of deep conversation about our common work, mission and future.

Presidents, scholars, and senior administrators will serve as faculty for the Seminar, guiding us as we learn together, share best practices and challenges, and deepen the networks and connections crucial to supporting and advancing the vision of Jesuit Higher Education.

I invite you to visit the website often for updates on this year’s faculty, topics, and testimonials from past attendees. While participation is determined through nominations by member institutions, we welcome those interested in the Seminar to reach out.

With diverse participation and support from our network across the country, we will continue and enrich the Jesuit’s centuries-old educational tradition and look to the future together. I wish you well in the academic year and hope to meet you in Chicago.
